Terms and Conditions
1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to services provided by Bateman Pressure Washing. By accepting a quote, requesting or confirming a booking, or allowing work to commence, the customer agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes are based on the information and condition of the property reasonably available at the time the quote is prepared. If the actual condition, size, access requirements or scope of work differs substantially from the information provided, Bateman Pressure Washing will discuss any proposed change in price with the customer before undertaking additional work.
3. Access to the Property
The customer must provide reasonable access to the areas being cleaned and ensure that gates, driveways, paths and other required access points are available at the agreed time. The customer must advise Bateman Pressure Washing of any known hazards, damaged surfaces, concealed services or other conditions that may affect the work.
4. Surface Condition & Existing Damage
Bateman Pressure Washing will take reasonable care when cleaning surfaces. However, pressure washing may reveal pre-existing damage, staining, discolouration, cracks, loose or deteriorated concrete, paint, coatings, sealers, jointing material or other defects that were not clearly visible before cleaning. Bateman Pressure Washing is not responsible for pre-existing defects or deterioration that becomes apparent during or after cleaning.
5. Cleaning Results
While every reasonable effort will be made to achieve the best possible result, complete removal of all stains, marks, mould, algae, oil, rust, tyre marks or other contaminants cannot be guaranteed. Some staining may be permanent or may require specialist treatment beyond the agreed scope of work.
6. Water, Electricity & Utilities
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer agrees to provide reasonable access to a suitable outdoor water supply required to perform the service. The customer should advise Bateman Pressure Washing before work begins if there are any known issues with water supply, drainage or other utilities relevant to the work.
7. Cleaning Chemicals
Bateman Pressure Washing may use professional cleaning products where appropriate, including sodium hypochlorite and other surface-cleaning products. Reasonable precautions will be taken when applying and rinsing cleaning products. Customers must advise Bateman Pressure Washing before work begins of any particularly sensitive surfaces, plants, pets, water features or other areas requiring special care.
8. Plants, Furniture & Personal Property
Customers should remove or secure movable items from the work area before cleaning, including furniture, decorations, pot plants and other personal property where reasonably practical. Bateman Pressure Washing will take reasonable precautions to protect surrounding areas during the work.
9. Water Runoff & Drainage
Bateman Pressure Washing will take reasonable measures to manage wastewater, debris and cleaning runoff during the service and to prevent pollutants from entering stormwater drains where required. The customer must disclose any known drainage problems, concealed drains or unusual drainage arrangements that could affect the work.
10. Payment
Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing. Bateman Pressure Washing accepts the payment methods advised to the customer at the time of booking or completion of the service.
11. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Customers are asked to provide as much notice as reasonably possible if they need to cancel or reschedule a booking. Bateman Pressure Washing may also need to reschedule work due to weather, equipment failure, safety concerns or other circumstances outside its reasonable control.
12. Weather & Site Conditions
Pressure washing is an outdoor service and may be affected by weather and site conditions. Bateman Pressure Washing may postpone, suspend or reschedule work where conditions make it unsafe, impractical or likely to adversely affect the quality of the work.
13. Customer Responsibilities
The customer is responsible for ensuring the work area is reasonably clear and safe to access. Children and pets should be kept away from the work area while cleaning is being performed. The customer must advise Bateman Pressure Washing of any known hazards, fragile surfaces, electrical hazards, drainage issues or other conditions that may affect the safe performance of the work.
14. Liability
Bateman Pressure Washing will exercise reasonable care and skill when providing its services. To the extent permitted by law, Bateman Pressure Washing is not responsible for loss or damage resulting from pre-existing defects, deterioration, inadequate maintenance, undisclosed hazards or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
15. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified under the Australian Consumer Law.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By accepting a quote, confirming a booking or allowing Bateman Pressure Washing to commence the agreed work, the customer acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
By submitting a booking request and selecting ‘I have read and agree to the Terms & Conditions’, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
